Health & Welfare Fund: Dental Open Enrollment
Active participants may change existing dental coverage only during Open Enrollment for changes effective January 1, 2024. Beginning January 1, 2024, there will be a new dental PPO option offered by MetLife (replacing the existing Delta Dental PPO option). If you currently have Delta Dental PPO coverage and wish to retain your PPO coverage, no action is necessary. You and your enrolled dependents will automatically be enrolled in the MetLife’s Dental PPO coverage effective January 1, 2024. If you are currently enrolled in the Delta Dental DHMO and wish to keep that coverage, no action is necessary. Your coverage will remain as is. If you currently have Delta Dental DHMO coverage, but wish to change your coverage to MetLife’s Dental PPO coverage effective January 1, 2024, you must return a completed Dental Enrollment Form to the Fund Office. This change can be made during Open Enrollment. If you are eligible for dental and have not yet enrolled, you may do so at any time by completing a Dental Enrollment Form. Pensioners & Surviving Spouses Health & Welfare Fund: Dental Open Enrollment
Pensioners & Surviving Spouses may change existing dental coverage only during Open Enrollment for changes effective January 1, 2024. Beginning January 1, 2024, there will be a new dental PPO option offered by MetLife. If you wish to enroll in the new MetLife PPO option, you must do so during Open Enrollment. If you are currently enrolled in Delta’s Dental DHMO coverage and wish to keep that coverage, no action is necessary. Your coverage will remain as is. If you currently have Delta Dental DHMO coverage, but wish to change your coverage to MetLife’s Dental PPO coverage effective January 1, 2024, you must return a completed Dental Enrollment Form to the Fund Office. Making Dental Plan Changes – If you wish to enroll or change your dental coverage for next year, download a Dental Enrollment Form or wait for a copy to arrive by mail in October. Send your completed Form to the Fund Office before the November 30th deadline for changes beginning January 1, 2024. All changes will apply to you and any covered dependents in the 2024 calendar year.
Health & Welfare Fund: Vision Open Enrollment
Active participants who did not enroll in Vision coverage when first eligible may enroll at any time. If you currently have Vision coverage and wish to retain your Vision coverage, no action is necessary. If you wish to terminate existing Vision coverage, you may to do only during Open Enrollment for changes effective January 1, 2024. You can download a Vision Enrollment Form or ask the Fund Office for a copy. Vision coverage begins the month following the date your properly completed form is received by the Fund Office.
